Calling all OFW Electronics Engineers, Electronics Technician to affix their signature in the petition to exempt us from CPD requirements for PRC License Renewal.
The feedback from our community highlights the significant logistical challenges many overseas professionals face when attempting to meet these administrative demands. I am currently compiling these experiences to present a formal request for policy revision to the governing board. Thank you for maintaining your focus on this essential professional issue.

True, I don't have a chance to get CPD pts. As an ETO, when Im in the Philippines, I usually have a training as seafarer. So, I support this petition.

OFW already sacrificed a lot! Pati ba naman sa pagrenew ng license pahihirapan pa rin kami? Konting pakonswelo naman sa mga tinatawag niyong mga Bagong Bayani ng Bayan!

Yes, definitely agree,
it's unfair that OFW practicing their profession can't renew their license
because of CPD points, but they allow the one not practicing their
profession as long as they can attend iecep convetion.
And most of all iecep seminars are too basic, you can just search it through the internet.
but the advance training that i had they will just credit 0.25points/hr!! because it's not cpd accredited program.
Come on PRC!!!!

IECEP seminars happen only once a year. Unfortunately for OFW members like me, our options are severely limited because we only have once a year vacation. We use this 1 month to prioritize situations like emergency/special occassions with our love ones. IECEP must realize this problem and provide flexibility of earning CPD points.
