We the undersigned believe that Cronulla District Lifesaver Rescue Inc (Offshore Rescue Boat 2) is a valuable member of Surf Life Saving Australia. For nearly forty years this group of volunteers has provided a vital and irreplaceable service to the beach and waterways users in and around the Sutherland Shire. Over the last 5 years they have rescued 346 people. We believe that Surf Life Saving New South Wales should ensure that Cronulla District Lifesaver Rescue is accepted back into Surf Life Saving as a fully independent body. We ask that the Surf Life Saving Cronulla Sutherland District Council carry a motion recognising and respecting that Cronulla District Lifesaver Rescue Inc is a separate incorporate legal entity and that it should continue in its role as an affiliated sub-committee of the Surf Life Saving Cronulla Sutherland District Council.
