Officer Robert Filley is a man on the Torrey Pines HS, Carmel Valley MS, and Canyon Crest Academy HS campuses that has provided a great service for the students of our school. His job is to protect our safety and liberty... and do it the best way possible. He always is such a great energizer and is always there for you if you need advice or help with complex issues. THE SCHOOL BOARD RECENTLY DECIDED THAT THEY MUST ELIMINATE HIS POSITION OR FIND A CHEAPER ALTERNATIVE! THE SAN DIEGO POLICE DEPARTMENT IS BEING UNREASONABLE IN THE CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS AND THEY NEED TO *HELP* US, NOT MAKE MONEY OFF OF US!. The effects of this will be astounding and not only will crime increase, but students will not have the constant support they need for a safe and healthy learning environment. Please note that this is not a matter of being fired... rather an apathetic and out of touch action by police department officials because they don\'t see the value of having an AMAZING police officer on campus.
