Objections to the Woolton Road Cycle Scheme

Children's lives shouldn't be jeopardised, leave the cycle lanes as they are for the sake of the safety of children and their families who need to park at Childwall C of E primary school

This is not a practical idea and if approved will only make the school run twice a day even more difficult!!

For safety reasons.

Parents need to have safe parking near to the school.

For an hour a day it’s important that parents can safely get their children into and out of school , there are no alternatives and there are a number or disabled children and parents with blue badges . The needs of the many for an hour , need to be understood.

Say no to cycle lane. Can’t get near to the school as it is.

I am objecting to the proposed plan for woolton road cycle lane.

I object to the cycle lane on Woolton Road it's difficult enough for parents to park by the school. It's going to mean that parents will park in side roads and get abuse off residents

The most ridiculous idea to have a cycle lane outside what is already a congested area.

With 5 children, 3 in Childwall CE and 2 preschoolers. These proposals to the cycle lane on Woolton Road make it very difficult to drop my children off and pick them up safely. I object to these proposals and would encourage the council to rethink these plans please

As parents we need to be able to drop our children safely to school,

Why make an already difficult situation worse.

I strongly object to the second proposal for the reasons given in the petition.

I object to the proposal on grounds of safety. I don’t believe this will help the children & families attending the school, or the local community & it would make the surrounding roads more congested & more dangerous for everyone.

I can’t begin to understand how this idea has gone this far. The safety of children has always been the most important thing this country has, and now it looks as though Liverpool City Council have decided to completely disregard children’s safety in favour of bikes??????? Please note my objection.

The chaos and disruption this will cause to the school and residents in the area is massive and a risk to children

This would not work for children who have breakfast or after school clubs, those who have extra curricular activities
