Objections to the Woolton Road Cycle Scheme

Please stop this cycle lane

Will make it even more unsafe for children/ parents and cyclists

Concerned about safety and practicalities of parking on side roads

This is impractical and dangerous for the children attending school and inconvenient for residents.

A bike lane on Woolton road will create chaos for parking in neighbouring roads at school drop off and pick up and make it more dangerous on surrounding roads for a children getting to school safely. During the day staff use Woolton road to park as car park is not big enough for all staff to avoid upsetting surrounding neighbours.

Please stop this cycle lane

I strongly object to this. Parking for drop off is hard enough. It will cause chaos and an added danger to our children

Traffic problems and parking issues would be shifted to surrounding areas.

An unbelievable situation where the vast majority of road users are fighting a solution that’s designed to please a very small minority

There needs to be plenty of parking near the school for the safety of our children and consideration to the residence in the area

The parking is already difficult enough.To take away more spaces would cause even more problems

A further cycle line would cause further problems for school parking. It would put children’s safety at risk and is a health and safety hazard

I think it is wrong. You will be putting young children in danger as parents wont be able to get close to the school so some will.srart parking were they shouldn't.

Completely oppose this cycle lane due to the road needing to be used for school use

This proposal would seriously affect parents and children who attend Childwall CE school. It is unsafe and would also cause disruption to residents as parents would need to park elsewhere.

This will cause major problems on the side rounds around the school creating an unsafe environment for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers.
