As a resident, the situation is already difficult. I’m concerned as to safety and managing to get out of my street on pick up and drop off times

I understand that bicycle lanes have to be incorporated into our road networks. They are a great idea and help with the safety of cyclists on our roads, especially since there are more and more every year. However there must be exceptions and I strongly believe that there are certain areas where if bicycle lanes where put in that they would be a hinderance to the flow of traffic and ultimately compromising the safety of drivers and in this case school children too. The safety of school children must always come first before anything else. There are many parked vehicles and lots of people and children about, but it works fine. Where would all those cars go if they could not park on Woolton road? It would be mayhem for the residence in the area. I would suggest allowing vehicles to park from 8:00,-9:15 3:00-4:45, then that would cover nearly all activities set by the school,

The plan to impose these parking restrictions will make life very difficult for parents and local residents alike. LCC must review and consult all parties before implementing them.

one hour twice daily is not sufficient for allowing safe accessibility to childwall c of e school for the children who attend breakfast club and after school club or after school activities. I think a pedestrian lane and cycle lane on the pavement would be a much better solution

I would like to object to this proposal as I believe it will create more congestion which will place the children’s safety at risk and will lead to parents having to park in residential streets which will upset the good relationship the school has with them. The proposal suggests removing 50% of the available parking at peak school drop off and pickup times without providing an alternative parking solution.

For safety of our children and the local residents this proposal must not go ahead

A dangerous and ill-thought-out proposal which will cause chaos for parents and staff, and danger for our children. We do not have a catchment area for our school, welcoming families from Knowsley, Sefton, Halton and Wirral who need safe, local parking that does not adversely affect our neighbours.

Cars will either park in side roads or continue to illegally park on Woolton Road, both putting the safety of children at risk.

The residents are frustrated at the minute with people parking outside their property, this will make matters a whole lot worse!!

Safeguarding out the window if this goes ahead. Utterly ridiculous!

Difficult for me to walk when collecting grandchildren from Childwall School, so need to park close to School.

I pick my Grandchildren up and need to park near the school as walking is getting a bit difficult at my age.

Hi, I’d like it to be known that I oppose the proposals as I believe it will be difficult to park elsewhere and get my child safely to school. The side roads are always so busy cars struggle to pull onto Woolton Road safely, it’s especially difficult around Hornby Lane where you will force a lot of traffic.
