Such a development in a residential areas will destroy our Beautiful by Nature reputation. This is not what we want !

I strongly object to the proposed development (PR 18146) in Cooper Jack. As a 16-year-old Belonger and future inheritor of my family’s land, this project would destroy the peaceful neighborhood my family has lived in for years. It threatens my inheritance, our way of life, and the future of Cooper Jack as a residential community.

Developments with this type of density should be carried out in areas with zoning that allows this density. The developer of this project should have purchased a property for this project in an area which allowed high density development. The Planning department needs to preserve some neighbourhoods with a residential character

Why is this application even being considered? We have zoning regulations that were comprehensively reviewed in connection with the NPDP and which have been working well.

This is a ridiculous proposal in a residential neighborhood on 1 acre! The invasion of uncontrolled development is anathema to the ‘beautiful by nature’ subtitle which we love. We are becoming daily ‘ugly by design’ if this is permitted.

Haven’t seen the plans but wonder how so many apartments on such a small parcel can accommodate the parking codes, alongside swimming pools and other amenities. Good project, wrong site.
