I was just looking at the count and we are nearly halfway to a hundred signatures which is honestly kind of amazing if you think about those six hundred acres just sitting there waiting for us. If everyone reading this could just reach out to a neighbor or a friend who loves those trails as much as we do maybe we can finally hit that milestone before the day is out because I need us to show them that this community actually cares about what happens to the land behind the schools.

This would be a wonderful park for Burke County and the schools in Burke. Excited about the possibilities and even getting NCSS&M involved.

I have been very blessed to have been raised in the Oak Hill community and very happy to still live in this same wonderful community as an adult. I look forward to raising my family here and being able to take my future children and their children to this very park for the next 50+ years!

Great plan which would implement goals, related to recreation and the environment, identified in Burke County's strategic land use plan "Blueprint Burke A Strategic Land Use Plan 2016 -2030".

We do not need a subdivision in this beautiful area. It will be devastating. In this economy, it will wind up in bankruptcy most likely!

This is very much needed in our community--it will provide a place close to town to get away into nature, a place that is more expansive than the Greenway, but not so remote as South Moutain State Park or Linville Gorge. We need this natural environment to be conserved!

This would be a great asset to our community for a multitude of reasons. Improves recreational opportunities, quality of life, increase tourism, and would help attract businesses looking for attractive places to locate where there employees would like to live.
