It was a horrible job from the beginning, the fix better not cost us tax payers more money!!

Do we send our car repair bills to the town? What will it take a car to be swallowed by a pot hole to get it fixed.. Or should we drive on the sidewalks so we don't tear our vehicles apart..

The Arcade Village Board as well as superintendant Larry Kilburn has been in constant dialogue with the DOT since 2012. They have admitted that the last major repair on the road was done with inferior materials from an outside source. I don't know about you , but the minute that was discovered, is the minute that I would be contacting NY DOT 's legal team to either get their money back or come back and do it right. They claim we are not on a primary route and rural which puts us at a disadvantage right off the bat. I am sick and tired of being put last because we don't have the population or tax base to support improvements.

You cannot drive down Rt 39 without hitting a pothole. It is absolutely horrible. Do you honestly think the state is going to pay to fix cars that are damaged by the road conditions?

It would be great if, when they repave, they reconsidered the setup of the 3 lanes and return it to 4. Not only is the road falling apart, but one slow moving vehicle ties up the entire town...

This road is unacceptable for a road that carries a majority of the local population on it. it is so bad I feel like I am driving in a driving test having to avoid road cones with home much pot hole dodging I have to do to ensure I don't bust a tyrod, a ball joint, or a shock and I drive a full sized pick up!
terrible condition
Fix it now or repair my car!!!
