I live in Douglass Houses in Manhattan we haven't had gas since Friday and no water since Sunday. Housing gave each apartment hot plates to cook that is too slow to cook food it's not to par to live in. I went to my management office they told me the gas and water is going to be out for the next two to three weeks. They never put notices in the building to let the tenants know that there be no gas and water. It's a shame how housing treat us, but they want the rent on time
Repairs need to be done in my apartment. I get ticket numbers and dates when they are suppose to come and verify and I take the day to stay home and no one shows from 8am to 5pm. I ask management what happen. they give me the run around. I give complaints call 311 no one gives me straight forward answers. Who can I turn to or call for help in repairs within my apartment??
They really don't I put 15 tickets for the same issue and they just give me the run around saying there's no leak
NYCHA don’t care about us I just had flooding in my apartment and lots stuff got damaged and they came and but wood in the bathroom y do we have to leave like this and I have videos also

I'm a retired NYCHA worker from 1974-1999. There've been serious issues as far back as I can remember.
