The undersigned hereby indicate their support for the designation of a New York State Beaver Day to observe the heritage and renewed contribution of these great, aquatic rodents to the health and stability of State wetlands and further to educate New Yorkers about the Beaver, New York's Official State Animal, and what we as citizens can do to ensure ongoing, responsible stewardship of natural places and species.
