Every animal has a right to live! The senseless slaughter of animals is not the answer! Education, neutering and more time is needed to save these animals! It is heartbreaking to know, you are killing these animals because of lack of time and care for each and everyone of these innocent babies!

No place that calls itself a shelter should be killing pets. They should be properly cared for, vetted and have all the time in the world to find loving homes. Animal abusers should be treated the same as any other criminal; with jail time and a record that follows them through their lives. BSL is BS and should end now all over the country. Provide education, not condemnation.

These animals deserve a chance to live you have to give people time to find them homes you kill outrageous right it's not fair some of those dogs that you kill it just pops you shall be ashamed of yourself :@( NO KILL !!!

"The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." Mahatma Gandhi It is wrong to kill the animals in the Shelter. Backyard Breeders need to be stopped, and the animals need to be spayed. People need to take the responsibility they were given, when they said yes lets get a pet. Pets are NOT disposable. Pets have souls and feelings. Animals are smart and learn, when taught just like children. God gave us these pets to watch over NOT kill. FIND AND STOP DOG FIGHTING, not the dog. Prosecute abuse and cruelty with JAIL, not a slap on the wrist. We have NO-KILL Shelters in NH and its been working for years. It CAN be done, Start by dong it. Thank You NY

STOP THE MASSES BEING KILLED! RENOVATE OR BUILD SHELTERS WITH ACCESS TO OUTSIDE. Enlarge each kennel with ventilation, and bedding. Take the euthanization (killing) rooms and morgues and renovate into more kennwls. There is NO NEED TO KILL HELPLESS, HEALTHY, TREATABLE, HOMELESS DOGS!! THE TIME FOR HUMANS TO STOP MURDERING DOGS AND CATS IS NOW!! Everthing. Changes in time; the time has come for Shelter Systems to STOP KILLING!! This is a horrible place - especially for young, healthy , adoptable dogs that are killed soon after they are dropped off here! A no-kill shelter is possible if the current officials are terminated!

Mayor tear down these walls,,, pls stop the killing of helpless healthy adoptable babies!!! Fire them all, they are brutal murders , they brag about killing these healthy gorgeous babies!!! I m sick over this senseless killings!!! Pls shut them down, and replace with 2 more no kill shelters!!! Offer free fixing, discount their shots!! Pls pls I thought NYC is the greatest city in the US!?!! Let's show the rest of the US , how to be compasionate, a model to follow!!! Stop all the killing,,, no kill shelter a let's demolish all the gas chambers, the heart sticks etc!!?)!

I recommend that everyone visit one of the shelters in Brooklyn, Manhattan & the Bronx. Go see for yourself what the Big Apple has to offer our poor homeless animals in this huge wealthy city, it's pathetic! Shame on NYC !!!!!
The red tape and hoops you must go through to foster alone are a joke and normally next to impossible. By the time you finish the paperwork the animal has been euthanized. Some of the people (most) that work at these shelters lethargicly drag their feet across the room to the counter to help you and would rather not be bothered.
Assessors lie about animals and give them poor evaluations when animals are terrified ( as they should be) when they first come into the shelters, which leads to their death for certain. Once an animal is labeled a New Hope Rescue only it is doomed, this means only a New Hope Rescue can pull the animal to save it's life and there are not enough good New Hope rescues that are not burned out, overwhelmed and really give a damn. Volunteers that (should be) the actual staff and well paid for it by the way, are the only saving grace at these slaughter houses and the only real compassionate and affectionate human beings that most of these animals have ever met and that is usually right before their deaths.

More shelters, mandatory jail time for animal abusers as well as increased penalties and fines, free spay and neuter clinics, quality vets and medical attention for all animals once in the hands of the ACC's.

An animal shelter is supposed to be safe place for until a home can be found. Killing a healthy animal for space is not euthanasia. It is just killing. This a barbaric practice.
