Absolute disgrace. I have 3000, 2500 and 5000 word essays, and a 30min presentation all due in the study week and all worth 100% of modules... Final year too so no pressure, thanks NUI... Couldn't coordinate a gang bang in a brothel... morons.

Not fair placing two final year exams on the same date. places a lot of pressure on the students.

From April 24th? I will have all my exams finished by then, well by the 25th! Just about get a study week, which doesn't really suffice given how crammed together my exams actually are, not to mention exams fall throughout Easter break. Arah, it's just a big joke tbh! Can't see them changing it!

It's impossible to expect people to be able to work on dissertations and extended essays worth 100% of one module while having other essays due that are worth 100% of another module, all while fitting in time to study for multiple exams (two of which are content heavy and on the same day). This degree outcome is important for people wanting to continue on in Postgrad education where most requirements are a high 2:1 or 1:1...Down with this sort of thing!

Two English exams each worth 80% to sit on the 25th when for Geography students the deadline for the dissertation is the 24th! Very difficult to perform to our abilities when this is the circumstances.

Exams way too close together, also too many assignments, especially in second semester of the final year. Dissertations and additional study should take up most of that time.

'Academic simplification' puts students' concerns second and undermines the entire purpose of the university - quality education.

I have two of my big final year exams the two days before easter (and the same subject!) We all signed a petition to get them changed but to no avail. So we have to rush to get our assignments done before the end of week 12, then rush to study for the two exams and then a ridiculous amount of free time then. This is our degree and our final year, we don't need all of that free time, we want it for studying/writing essays. I feel that the whole year is a rush and not enough time is allocated so that students can write quality essays and exams.

Final year English exams on the same day? That's a joke. Why are final year students not a priority?

This has caused so much unnecessary stress.
