Due to the economy, it has been harder and harder for Families to supply thier children with all school supplies and clothes needed to start the school year. Pioneer Valley is a great school, and it at one point did not have a uniform requirement, it now does and has for years. We are seeking to change the uniform policy at PVE both for individuality and also for Families who have a harder time buying the "approprite" uniform for the school. Not all schools in the Bethel School District have uniforms,in fact there are only 2 or 3 out of the entire district that have uniforms and uniforms do not affect the way that a child learns in school.
