Russell Crowe is currently in talks to play Bill Hicks in an upcoming biopic being written by first time screenplay writer Mark Staufer. Russell Crowe is not right for this part. He is too old, he is not funny, and he\'s the kind of guy Bill Hicks would hate if he were still alive. Danny McBride is funny, he\'s a great actor, he was born in Georgia just like Bill Hicks was, and he resembles him! Please sign the petition to keep Russell Crowe from ruining the image and the memory of Bill Hicks. If we can\'t get someone else, like Danny McBride to play the part, the very least we can do is get Crowe out of there.
