NOTICE OF CHRISTMAS EVICTION FOR SENIOR CITIZEN
Please help STOP the eviction of elderly John Whitney of Longford from his house in Tasmania. Fine artist, John, must vacate his home within three weeksor be tossed out onto the street on 8 of January 2016.
His troubles started a few years ago when his sister passed away and John was left as the only one with a Power of Attorney for his mother who is in a Nursing Home. All was fine before social workers started to meddle in the family's affairs and the Public Trustee demanded that John pay $ 16,000.00 immediately. John spent most of his money repairing his old house in the Tasmanian outback in the hope that his mother could come and live with him, but has since been told that she can't. He is happy to negotiate payments of the $ 16,000.00, the demand for which came out of the blue; but the Public Trustee prefers to make him homeless. John is fine artist and is very willing to offer some of his beautiful paintings depicting Tasmanian scenery in order to pay the debt. We plead with you our friends worldwide to help by responding to this posting with requests for digital images of John's paintings and a price list, so that purchases can be made. Also, we would express our humble thanks for any donation that helps John stay in his home, where he can enjoy his retirement in peace doing the one thing he truly loves, which is painting.PLEASE HELP US SAVE JOHN FROM EVICTION THIS CHRISTMAS. This is appalling behaviour by the Public Trustees. No heart, compassion or willing to give an elderly man a fair go.
Hard to believe that the authorities do not do something. Immediate investigation is needed in Tasmania Australia or they are still 200 years behind the real world?
To Helen Jeffries of Claremont small correction that in Tasmania are both Perpetual Trustees that so far are without any blemish to their reputation but these case and many more are in regards to Public Trustee in Tasmania. This is the usual hi-jinx with this State's Public Trustees, an outrageous annual set of fees, then becomes their infliction upon any family and or relatives to further demand money there from. I have sent a letter to the new Prime Minister about this reprehensible form of fleecing the elderly in Tasmania.
Well, who trusts Perpetual Trustees ?? This isn't the first abuse of the rights of its Citizens. This poor man, to have this insecurity I think is absolutely outrageous. The Government should not hold complete power as they do. Independent panel would be much better. They have to go...!!!
Longford should never become Yuppieford...

This is terrible. A State board meant to protect the vulnerable will make a old man homeless. For a reason that sounds like a clerical mix up. Not on.
