This is a petition is just a way to open the eyes to people. if we start to remove things that may offend people, where will it end? places like Sears, Kmart, Walmart, eBay, Amazon, Google, Warner Bros., Spencer Gifts, and Annin Flagmakers all have banned the Confederate Flag. Is this the start to ban all flag merchandise that is offensive? Flags like communist flags, Nazi flags, nation of Islam flag, black panthers flag, the Japanese flag, Gay pride flag, The 420 flag, the flag of U of M, ect....If we start this slippery sloap, where will it end? This petition is our way to open the eyes.

The conversation surrounding this topic has become more intense than I initially anticipated. I am reflecting on the many different viewpoints being shared in the comments as we consider what the long term implications of these removals truly mean for our society.

I do not approve removing any flag from distribution. The flag does not represent racism. It signifies a war in our history...not the present. People are responsible for acts of racism, not an inanimate object. Our history will remain the same, removing flags from the market will not change that fact!
The rebel flag is a symbol of the men that died for this country, by removing it you saying they died for nothing. Hanging the pride flag ( gay flag ) is disrespecting God after all God calls homosexuality a abomination.
I'm asking for the government not to destroy apart of history... If they take this away from us what else are they going to take?????
I support flying the Confederate Flag. ALL of them. They are history good or bad which makes this Country history. To erase the trails of our growth is to diminish who we are and where we came from and why we are who we are. A NATION THAT HAS DIVERSITY OF PEOPLE THAT LIVE UNDER THE SAME NATION ....
This flag represents the men that fought and died with pride for our confederate states!
this flag is part of my heritage, i am pissed that our sorry government is trying to take it away from me, this country is being mislead by a clown

I have collected confederate memorabilia for years and was a huge shopper on ebay and amazon and a Walmart. Not any longer until they stop saying we are racists for flying our flag of our southern heritage as that is all it means to us not a racist symbol.
