The feedback I have received from neighbors confirms that many of us find the current manual sorting process outdated and burdensome. I am currently gathering information on how to best present these signatures to the commissioners during their upcoming negotiations. Your participation provides a necessary foundation for showing the county that this transition is a priority for our community.

The steady growth of this petition shows that many of us in unincorporated Ada County are ready for a more efficient way to handle our waste. It is encouraging to see our neighbors agree that simple improvements to our recycling contract will lead to better participation for everyone.

do it for the enviroment and for us. less work means more people will actually recycle
Its 2014, we should have the same trash services as the city. Why are we always the last ones to get basic updates?
Ridiculous that we have to keep sorting when the city next door doesnt. Fix this.
Finally someone is bringing this to the commissioners attention. Its about time we got some convenience.
My bin is always overflowing because of the sorting requirements. Single stream would make life so much easier for everyone out here.

I end up just throwing stuff in the trash because sorting is a pain. Make the switch official.
