The developer behind the 79 Church Hill Road project is clearly feeling the heat because our momentum is showing no signs of slowing down. This massive turnout proves that Newtown residents refuse to let corporate greed ruin our town infrastructure and environment. They thought they could sneak this through while we were quiet but they were dead wrong.

Walnut Tree Hill Road and Church Hill Road are already busy enough. The roads cannot handle the traffic 350 units would generate. Vote to oppose this development project.

The sewer capacity should be released incrementally for residents with failing septic systems, responsible commercial development and smaller distributed multi-family housing projects.
