The city finally cracked and confirmed they are installing the speed bumps and signs we demanded. Our neighborhood is going to be safe because we refused to accept their excuses any longer. Keep your eyes on the streets to make sure these crews actually finish the job.
Speeding through our neighborhood has become an epidemic. Everyone’s safety is at risk, especially our children’s. We need to get speed bumps/humps and road signs put in throughout the neighborhood to better handle speeding and safety. Please sign this to help make that happen.
The city council can no longer ignore this momentum while our streets remain deathtraps for our children. We are finally forcing these bureaucrats to acknowledge the danger they have allowed on our roads.

I don't have children in school district but I am highly aware of the dangers out and about our neighborhood.

Increasing car and truck traffic, often speeding through our development's narrow streets, is hazardous to our children going to and from school or simply playing in their front yards.
Construction vehicles, from the adjoining development, show no regard for the lives they put at risk as they speed through our streets to avoid being delayed by cars waiting at the traffic lights near their own development's exit closer Leopard Street on Rand Morgan.

Need speed bumps on the new streets that are accessible and signs as well to not thst there is a school zone, the only signs are on the front and on Rand Morgan side. Have even seen busses honk at vehicles for not stopping shen they are loading or unloading.

I live on Overland Trail on the corner of overland and Oregon and speeding traffic concerns me greatly when I'm walking my kids to and from the bus stop! I'm also concerned about speeding traffic during non school hours too because people are not paying attention or stopping at stop signs!

We really need them. People zoom down our street as if it were a NASCAR
race track. Thanks Chris!
