I spent the morning walking these paths and thinking about how much they mean to everyone who seeks a quiet escape in our woods. Your comments show me that I am far from the only person who feels this way about our trail system. We are talking with local officials now to ensure they understand that these trails are a vital piece of our community.

Seeing this kind of momentum reminds me of all the mornings my friends and I spent clearing debris from these paths long before anyone else paid attention. It feels incredible to know so many of you value this land as much as we do.

I been riding these trails since 2008. They are the only bit of woods left in North Port. Keep them open!
Have been using these trails for over a decade. Leave them for the hikers and bikers they are a gem.
My kids love hiking here on the weekends. Please dont let them pave over this place.
It is so rare to find a spot like this in our area. Keep it wild for the next generation please.
The city needs to leave these trails alone. The biking community puts way more work into maintaining them than the city ever would.

NORTH PORT NEEDS MORE OUTDOOR SPACES NOT LESS! Stop trying to ruin these trails.
I been riding these trails since 2008. They are the only bit of woods left in North Port. Keep them open!
