I have a ostomy, for u it very sad to wake up in a hospital and find out that now y need to be close to q bathroom due to emergency with our condition . it’s very discouraged to not go out due to this fact. Please be more aware of our condition and read about it

If a person with Ulcerative Colitis can be approved by their doctor for a permanent handicapped parking placard, then why can't they have access to a toilet at a public business???

This law is critical to assist NC citizens or visitors with Crohns, UC, or other types of inflammatory bowel diseases. Fourteen states have passed similar laws, this just makes sense!

Restrooms need to meet or exceed mandated minimum standards for wheelchair accessible facilities. I say exceed because there must be room for the caregiver or attendant to manoeuvre as well as room for the wheelchair.

This bill must be passed to help ensure that people with this sometimes debilitating illness can lead a better quality of life as well as a much better functioning life by having access to needed bathrooms when they are in public places. This is a medical need.
