I can't understand how businesses aRe allowed to operate without providing restrooms for the public, it seems like it's mostly in lower to mid income neighborhoods. Or businesses that are owned by other minorities themselves. It's a form of discrimination. I have had people I know that work at service stations tell me that they are told to rely people the restrooms are out of service, to keep "unsightly" people out.

I have Crohns Disease since the age of 15. This disease has controlled my life bc I did not want to go out in public for fear of not making it to the bathroom or being in a store that did not have a public restroom. This would be wonderful if this law could be passed.

I grew up in NC and my parents still live there. My daughter has Crohn's Disease and we visit in NC often. We have actually been faced with this situation where there was no restroom available so we had to leave and hurry back to my parent's house.
