A faith-based thrift store manager refused to allow my wife access to their restroom, citing "No Public Restrooms." When I attempted to explain her disability and the ADA, she snapped back "Go call the police!"

This law is critical to assist NC citizens or visitors with Crohns, UC, or other types of inflammatory bowel diseases. Fourteen states have passed similar laws, this just makes sense!

I have Crohns Disease since the age of 15. This disease has controlled my life bc I did not want to go out in public for fear of not making it to the bathroom or being in a store that did not have a public restroom. This would be wonderful if this law could be passed.
