It's simply a common courtesy if we shop with you, and just the right thing to do for anyone needing a restroom.

I was denied access while shopping for my grandchildren in Rack Room Shoes. The law needs to extend to anyone who needs access.

It's very important to have the Allys law here in NC and every state in the US.

A faith-based thrift store manager refused to allow my wife access to their restroom, citing "No Public Restrooms." When I attempted to explain her disability and the ADA, she snapped back "Go call the police!"

The Goodwill on Patton Ave. Ashevill, NC has recently closed it's restrooms to the public 2.5 hours before closing. They say that some druggies go in there to take drugs. Meanwhile, people go outside along the tree lines. side of building and other areas that they can access to do what they need to do. I have to take medications and it causes me to use the bathroom at any given time.

I have been in situations that I was in physical pain due to the urgency of my Chrons and being denied access to the locations restroom. By the time I made it to my car I had messed on myself. Because I was denied access they lost business that day (I had items in hand to purchase), they lost future business and I was very embarrassed. All of this could have been avoided if they would have accepted my card and allowed
