There is no reason or need to change South Shore High School's name, especially not to someone who never attended SSHS. Keep the current name!

What is the reasoning behind changing a school's history, because someone who had no relations or involvement with South Shore at all.. As I said before give Willie Barrows a street named or rename Operation Push after her. I guess Jessie Jackson might be behind this since he has ties in South Shore 's Ward. This screams politics!

The South Shore name should never be changed. Maybe there should be a name change to 79th street to Willie T. Barrow Blvd. I believe that would carry much more significance.

These is are school and where we had good memorys. Sports, homecoming, coronation ball,etc. We love South Shore High School. South Shore for life.
