The marshmallow used in General Mills cereals (lucky charms, count chocula etc) are made used gelatin extracted from pig. Many people keep kosher or halal and do not consume pig products. GM did a good job hiding the fact, by not mentioning it on their cereal boxes. They should instead use Gelatin from Horse or Cow.
