Every year Sketty residents try to stop escape in the park from happening. In 2007, they took this to the extreme. Fflam festival with bands as big as placebo, keane and biffy clyro all headlining was cancelled. At first the sketty residents complained about the camping at the festival, so this was removed. Then eventually the entire festival was cancelled. IT WAS ONLY FOR 3 DAYS OF THE YEAR. GET A GRIP. PROMS IN THE PARK GOES ON JUST AS LATE INTO THE NIGHT AND HAS FIREWORKS AT THE END WHICH ESCAPE INTO THE PARK OR FFLAM WOULD NOT HAVE.
