We, the undersigned, note Kelly’s pub of 124 Clapham Road has applied for a license extension to serve alcohol and play live music from 10am through until 1am Monday to Wednesday, and then from 10am to 5am on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
We believe that the proposed times are too late given the pubs proximity to residential properties and the inevitable late night fall out to the surrounding street in Oval.
We feel a standard 11pm closing time would be much more appropriate given the pub’s location and call upon the Council licensing committee to reflect the views of residents in making its decision

5am? thats absolutely ridiculous. imagine trying to get the kids to school when people have been shouting outside your window all night. no way should this be allowed to happen.

its a residential street for gods sake. people have to work! 1am let alone 5am is way too late for live music and a pub this size.
