We do not want a longer school day and it will not work because Lane Tech College Prep. is not a typical neighborhood school. There are many different places that the students come from and if school doesn't end till 5PM many students will not get home till very late which would be hazardous to the students. After school sports are already three hours long which means kids will not get home to around 10PM. This will not benefit us in anyway. So please sign the petition; we need all of your support so that this will not be put into affect.

PS. I have heard we are not extending the day. It is just a rumor until Dr. Lobascoe tells us students but be aware.
