We do not want a longer school day and it will not work because Lane Tech College Prep. is not a typical neighborhood school. There are many different places that the students come from and if school doesn't end till 5PM many students will not get home till very late which would be hazardous to the students. After school sports are already three hours long which means kids will not get home to around 10PM. This will not benefit us in anyway. So please sign the petition; we need all of your support so that this will not be put into affect.
PS. I have heard we are not extending the day. It is just a rumor until Dr. Lobascoe tells us students but be aware.

Seeing 250 of you sign this is surreal because I remember when I was just staring at the screen alone. My brother is already exhausted enough with his current schedule and I am relieved to know so many of you value our time at home as much as I do.

lane tech students have way to much going on already. keep the schedule how it is.
sports practice is already exhausting enough without adding more school hours. seriously stop this.
getting home at 10pm is literally insane. my commute is long enough as it is.
