PEP for Residents of Holmes Beach

PEACEABLE ENJOYMENT OF PROPERTY

Residents and Occupants of Holmes Beach are promised Peaceable Enjoyment of Property within our Municode, Comprehensive Plan, and Charter.

Residents and occupants have been negatively impacted from Noise levels that have exceeded the allowable decibel levels.

Our city has lost 25% of our residents over a 5-year period, partially because of the negative impact from Noise.

We are asking for community policing and enforcement of current codes.

We are asking that the city effectively communicate the importance of the usual peace and quiet in our neighborhoods.

We are asking that the city outline their plan for controlling the noise in order to restore the quality of life in our neighborhoods that has been promised.

We are asking for a regular report to the citizens of what the city is doing to correct this problem.

8 long years my wife and I have been robbed of having a peaceful home , We need good direction from Mayors office to get Cheif Tokenger to realize, that it is his responsibility to maintain a peaceful atmosphere for All people staying in Holmes beach. Kids can have fun with out disrupting the neighborhood. The party houses tenants need to be told they need to adhere to HB code !!!

We have a noise problem in Holmes Beach especially in the R2 area of the city. We need action by the city officials before we loss more residents like myself and my family.

If our commissioners and mayor aren’t taking immediate action to end all disruptive behavior like what is on the audio tape I would not support them in future elections and I would engage my friends in a campaign to join me.
