There is a growing movement within the pet fish market, the practice of "dyeing" or "tattooing" ornamental fish. We the undersigned believe this to be a barbaric and inhumane practice. The majority of fish don't survive the process, much less come out healthy from it. This is a message to all pet shops who sell these fish, and all the breeders who do this to their fish that we do not support the artificial colouring of ornamental fish on the grounds that it is animal cruelty.
