So many things could be said (pros and cons) but as a whole and to summarize, as a husband of a lady devotee whom I served up until her last breath while uttering the Name of Krishna all together with her mother and father before she went straight to Krishna as per the very words of our Spiritual Master Sri Srimad Gour Govinda Swami, there is a natural order and law of nature which we have to follow and respect. siddhanta.com explains the matter authoritatively based on sastra that FDG is only credited to liberated perfected souls. Devotees can go by how they feel, or turn to sastra to come to correct conclusions.
women are not allowed on altar on certain days of the month. nobody needs a diksha guru who is not qualified every single day. they can be siksha gurus.

There is no need. They can preach, be siksa Guru, do Harinam, distribute Srila Prabhupada’s books and raise Krishna Conscious children. If they are seeking after it then automatically they disqualify themselves.
