I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you have stepped up to protect the Arashi area. If we can reach that next milestone of five hundred names it will be much harder for the decision makers to ignore what all of you are saying.

The stench from the sewage plant is daily. Government officials should be made to lay on the beach in front of the Amsterdam Hotel every day and experience it for themselves. As for the number of new construction...it is a turn off to tourism and makes me think twice about returning. Shame on the government to allow this...and that includes the build out of Baby Beach.
This year is the first time we have been back to Aruba in about 8 yrs . I’m stunned how much of the natural landscape of moors is gone . There is a waste dumping station on the road near New Amsterdam hotel the stench blows all the way to eagle beach now . The traffic is out of control . It’s really sad to see synchronized a nice island have its country side destroyed from careless overbuilding . Drivers now are full of rage and anger as bad as they are in NY . It was such a nice place before . I’m not sure if we will return the feel is more like Wildwood NJ now than Aruba
PLEASE leave it be. Aruba is losing its charm.
Arashi is one of the last quiet spots left on the island. Stop selling everything off to developers before there is nothing left for locals to enjoy.
Too much concrete. The traffic is already a disaster and we dont need another hotel blocking the view at Arashi.
Utrecht, Netherlands. or Paradera, Aruba!

Should have NEVER built the high rises. Aruba has DAMAGED their natural beauty with greed.
