The 1800 homes proposed on and around the 'Airfield Farm' Site Market Harborough will, we believe, have a major negative impact on the existing communities in Market Harborough, Great Bowden, Lubenham, Foxton, Gumley and indeed all of the surrounding area. We urge Harborough District Council to reject the proposal to develop 1800 homes and IF there has to be a development on the site to support the lesser level indicated at 1000 homes.
The feedback regarding the scale of the proposed development at Airfield Farm continues to highlight a consensus on the need for infrastructure protection. I am currently compiling the specific community concerns shared here to present them formally to the Harborough District Council.

This development should be halted immediately due to the implications it has on the character of the town. The infrastructure is insufficient to deal with the building of new houses in the area and would cause irreparable damage.

Market Harborough is overcrowded already. Doctors and schools are full to bursting. Council needs to wake up before they ruin the whole town.

1800 is way too many. The infrastructure just isnt there to support this level of building. Totally ridiculous.

The roads round here cant take this traffic as it is. Its already a total nightmare getting through town at 8am and this will just break everything.
