Having this rally on campus will expose the student body to irresponsibly dangerous situations. Allowing the trump organization on the grounds is inviting disaster and is a completely unacceptable waste of university materials, personnel, and time.

WCU: Stop the hate. Stop the manipulation. Universities should be places of enlightenment, not of persecution.

Our people should be inspired by being inclusive, open, collaborative, and through genuine concern for everyone. Mr Trump thus far has used fear, hatred, and tried excluding people. What is it that we Americans want to stand for?

I'm pulling my donations to the alumni association if this happens. He has insulted every race, female and gay person in our town and this sets a poor example for young people I don't care how you try to spin it. Some of us are teachers and work very hard to eliminate discrimination in our schools and community!

The petition blurb says it all. We will not tolerate ignorance toward people with differing backgrounds, nor will we support a candidate with off-the-wall ideas, particularly without any real plan of action!

Class of 2006, former WCUR-FM General Manager. A commitment to an open exchange of ideas need not include hateful rhetoric like Trump's.

Mr. Trump is a devicive, egotistical person who contradicts everything WCU stands for. The University is shameful for allowing such a person on their campus.
