It is going to be too cold tomorrow morning. With a windchill of -15 at 7 am and then a windchill of -9 at 9 am, it is too cold for school. These record breaking temperatures can possibly cause damage to your students, and pose a large risk to the students who walk to school. Children as young as 6 years old walk to school on a daily basis. Please protect them and close the schools. We mean no threat or harm in this act of protest.

I have been staring at the weather forecast all day and thinking about the six year olds who have to trek through that windchill. My own kitchen is drafty enough to keep me worried about what these kids will face in the morning. I am waiting for any word from the district office but so far there is only silence.

Seeing this much support for our children's safety leaves me truly overwhelmed. People are coming together because they know these windchills are simply too dangerous for our students to face on their morning walk. We have built enough momentum to prove that the current plan is not acceptable.

My son has to wait at the bus stop and he is barely 7. Too cold for him to be standing out there for 20 mins.
please close school for aps. It is dangerous for students to be exposed to weather this cold.
i will contract Ebola if I gô out side
National Weather Service says we can get hypothermia.
