No school on the unsuitable Sutton Hospital council plot please!

The size of the proposed school is too large for this small area. The roads could not sustain the traffic as it is already a dangerous corner.

Short sighted, badly thought out idea. Total nonsense. It would mean a split site for games. Rose Hill better option all together.

Presumably Sutton Council employed consultants, who have assessed the Sutton Hospital site and stated that it is 40% below the minimum space required.So why ignore the professional adviceStrategic planning is required! Use the hospital site for the proposed medical centre, keeping medical services with the marsden and life sciences on one site. As stated the traffic is already extremely bad with congestion on all near by roads already. This is common sense!

This site is too small and not suitable for such a development. It will lead to increased congestion on what is already a very busy road and lead to gridlock. Not enough thought has been given to the suitability of the area and the impact it will have.

It is to small to build a school on this area and would cause to much traffic

I hate the idea of building a school here. he space is way too small and their is many schools within 5 mins away.

Surely, the size and position of the site and the poor surrounding infrastructure cannot support a school for 2,000 pupils.

Siting the school on the Belmont Hospital site is inappropriate because the site is too small; there will be road safety problems; a school is needed in the north of the borough.

Knocking down a much needed healthcare site for an unsuitably placed school in South Sutton. Please Council, think before you crowd this part of the borough with another rash development. Bring back the hospital services and do what's needed for the area, not what future developers want to lure potential home buyers.

The site is completely unsuitable, as there is a lack of site space & public transport in that area concerned. High structures will make the area appear out of character.

We are opposed to the building of a new school at the Sutton hospital site as the space is insufficient to accommodate appropriately sized buildings.

This council is so good at spending other people's money. The consultants say the Sutton Hospital site is 40%!! too small. Is it intended for children living in Banstead? The Borough needs a school in the north, Rosehill seems ideal, it has sports facilities nearby, good transport links, will not overwhelm the area, and the children live there, so less travel. Belmont will be overcrowded from the start, cause enormous traffic problems, and offer a very poor environment for the children. Would the councillors in favour of the site choose it for their own children? I think not.
