The Sutton Hospital site is unsuitable for a high school due to it's size. However, it would be the ideal location for the new medical cente, rather than the ill-conceived Henderson Hospital site. Please make the right decision for the benefit of local residents and not just for political gains.

Agree - a school on old Sutton Hospital site is stupid. Please act sensibly and build the medical centre there.

This site is quite unsuitable as it is far too small and would be out of keeping with it's surroundings. Traffic nuisance for Chiltern Road residents would be considerable and I also believe that there is no provision for staff parking at the school. Another impractical & hair brained scheme from the Lib Dems and the supposed benefit to pupils of being connected to the Royal Marsden is tenuous at best.

Understand the need for more school places but logically, this site is unsuitable for a large comprehensive. And what with even more demolition & new buildings planned by the Royal Marsden and ICR in the very near future, the Belmont area and residents should NOT have to cope with an additional large development.

This site is totally unsuitable for a school, of any size. The proposed school is too small to meet the needs of the Borough And should not be located here. Apart from the lack of outside space and the site being too small - how is it deemed safe to drop off and pick up children at this site? No matter where you approach it from the site is too dangerous for school children.

This site is more suitable for a Medical Centre with ample parking than the Henderson site with limited parking and potential major disruption to the Belmont Heights and Shanklin Estate traffic.

I do not believe that a school should be positioned on this site

This is not an appropriate area for a school of the proposed number of children

The Sutton Hospital site would be totally unsuitable for a new school. No mattter where the entrances were situated they would cause severe congestion around that area and make life very difficult for the local residents. It is also not very easy to cross the roads to that site and would be doubly dangerous for young children.

An integrated medical centre / cancer diagnostics unit and hospice would make more sense..

Common sense and logic point to any new school development to be where it is most needed. This is in the north of the borough on a site that is well placed to serve this purpose.

It is illogical to add yet another secondary school to the outskirts of the borough. - especially as Overton and Stanley Park are so close. The site should concentrate on medical issues, including the proposed new Belmont Health Centre.

The local infrastructure (transport & roads) could not support a school of 2,000 pupils!

We already have 2 schools in South Sutton. A medical centre would be much more useful.

To build a 2000pupil school on a site that is OFFICIALLY too small means multi-storey building thereby increasing costs. The site will not provide on site external grounds for sport and pupils will have to be taken to a sports ground! COST? This stupid proposal will increase traffic to a Junction of roads which is already congested and dangerous.

General lack of space, gridlock when parents drop their children off and the lack of adequate transport from other parts of the borough make this an unsuitable site for a school. Much better to use it as a medical centre.
