Building a new school on a site with inadequate outside facilities when there is an obesity epidemic amongst school children is irresponsible when there is a site on Rose Hill that can provide for those needs. It will also create more traffic congestion and pollution as demand for new places is in the north of the borough. What happened to Sutton's green policies?

To much traffic already in the area

The area cannot cope with MORE traffic. No where for residents visitors to park. Also no room for pedestrians, coming and going morning or afternoons,as pavements are not adequate for volume of pedestrians that will be using a school.A ridiculous idea!!

The site is too small. The alternative site is more suitable.

The site isn't suitable as there is no space for a games field

The site is not suitable for a large secondary school due to the pressures it will place on the local area which is already very busy.

Site is suitable for a Helth centre and leisure facilities - school makes no sense

Site is too small. A multi-storied structure in this location is out of keeping. Traffic will be gridlocked at the Brighton Road / Chiltern Road / Cotswold Road junction.

The current plan is contrary to all independent advice given to Sutton Council. Rose Hill site is far better with greater pupil demand in that area. Current plan is not popular with local residents.

The site is too small for a school. There would be a problem with traffic on the already congested traffic island. A complete shambles by the Liberals and even worse a waste of Monet which could have been used for health services etc. I am disgusted with the Liberals, they always waste our money.

This is not a suitable site for a large secondary school.

A medical centre or a leisure facility would be a good use of the space

Sutton Hospital site totally unsuitable for a school. Local residents need a health centre.

As mentioned by Mark Randall I do believe that a rehabilitation centre for injured sportsmen and injured servicemen would be a fantastic idea. We could work closely with charities such as help for heroes to ensure that they get the best care possible. There are already many health centres across sutton therefore it would not make sense to add another one plus I would prefer not to live right next door to one. I think we should be using this space to create something fantastic and I would be happy for a rehab centre to be placed there. I feel that we could also join this rehab with Royal Marsden in order to help those who have had a leg amputated because of cancer or for any other reason. I think there is a lack of this kind of care and I would be more than happy to live next door to a place like this

Site favours extension of existing cancer research campus or local health centre. Southern most extremity of borough not central enough for a school.

I'd like to see the land used as a Sports spa and physical rehabilitation centre for injured sportsmen and injured servicemen.. keeping landscaping on the Chiltern road side as is (green and trees) but with the southern part of the site sharing interdisciplinary resources with Marsden. The Sports spa being available to local residents for a reduced fee as a community resource and source of funding for the specialist centre.

This is not a big enough site for a school Much more suitable for health as its already there in Marsden

medical centre is a far greater need than a new school
