The days feel long and the burnout is real but we are almost at one hundred signatures. Please send this link to your neighbors so we can reach that mark and force the board to pay attention to our exhaustion.

I beleive we should not have school Nov. 1st because its the day after Halloween, us kids will be extremly tired from tick-or-treating all night long, and as well we stay up from the excitement all night eating our candy and chilling from the long night.
There should be no school November 1st because we are aren't going to be focused, on time, half of the school probably won't even show up to school. I mean come on when you were a kid I bet you didn't have school the day after Halloween . it makes no sense at all to have school . the day after Halloween .
Kids should be allowed to stay up late on a holiday! But with halloween falling on a Monday, ISD thought it'd be okay to have school that Tuesday. Even as an straight A student, I'd be sleeping in school and not learning to my full capability.
Due to Halloween being the prior night, our North Kansas City School District should not have school November 1st, 2016. Children and teens will be awake later than usual, and be less attentive due to lack of sleep.
I think it's ridiculous to have school the day after a holiday people stay out so late on. I would rather go to school the Friday before and have that Tuesday off.
