I want to continue to feel safe in my community. I don't want to feel like I have to start looking over my shoulder or wonder if my home has been broken into.

Allowing of a possible rezoning would significantly change the atmosphere, social climate and living conditions in Panther Valley. The establishment of a rehabilitation center on the territory of the village will inevitably create prerequisites for tension, contrsdictions and conflicts that will affect permanent residents. The seeking rezoning would raise some legal and ethical problems because a significant part of homebuyers has made their choice to buy right here due to the closed status of the settlement. Such a precedent could be only a first step in the admission of other similar facilities. Therefore, I decisively vote against the admission of the requested rezoning.

The size and scope of this facility is not appropriate for a community with so many children. The Panther Valley Mall will become the site for addicts who decide to stray to meet with dealers as it is so close to 80.

We are against the re-zoning of 25 & 27 Rutherford Road, located in Allamuchy, NJ in order to allow the development of a center for the treatment of drug addiction and mental health disorders adjacent to the residential community. We are asking that the town board deny this application and keep the area zoned as it is currently.

It is in no one's best interest to do any rezoning in Alamuchy. Yes, our taxes are high, but our town, and surrounding area, is beautiful. Rezoning for this, or any other reason, will severely begin to change the dynamic that makes up our beautiful bucolic lifestyle.

most of us left larger cities and towns for a gated community in a more bucolic setting in order to escape these types of facilities. we pay a premium for our homes and in taxes, and to allow the rezoning for this type of facility would be a slap in the face to all of the residents of panther valley, as well as all residents of allamuchy !!

Property zoning is done for a reason. There is plenty of commercial property available elsewhere in the area. We choose to live in a residential and farm community. We need as many people as possible to show up at the April 28th meeting to voice their opinion.

A community that yes gated but any can walk in. Our children are out walking playing spring, summer. This is sometimes a first option or jail. I'm all for helping and recovery for those that need it. But not close to a community where you can just walk threw

Ummm. The best rehab is in the best most richest area in Mendahm people !!!! The area will stay as is and you don't even know whose on drugs these days , your nor or can be totally normal and still have a hero on addiction ......too sad people !!! Relax its not like they gonna shove drugs in your face !!!

I understand that there is a need for a rehab facility as the heroin epidemic continues to rise, but wouldn't it make sense to have the facility adjacent to a medical building/hospital?

I moved to Panther Valley Allamuchy 12 years ago because it is a safe community, were children still play in the streets and adults go for walks with out worries at any time day or night, the impact of having a REHAB FACILITY in our backyard will be a complete change in our peace of mind and quality of live.
I say NO to rezoning, I say NO to rehab facility.
