I feel like a move to this area would only repeat the current problems that they are facing and that it will severely hurt the economic development that is just starting to pick up in these areas.

My family and I, would not like to have the prison in our back yard. We like living in a quiet neighborhood and a friendly fast growing community. Having a prison in our community will stop that. We will lose our economy growth and our friendly, quiet community. The other concern is that we are a young community with a lot of kids, and I as a parent don't want my kids growing up in the shadows of a state prison. I would like to see it moved somewhere remote where it won't harm community growth and safety for any city or community. Move it to skull valley or toole county, or

I love this area, relocating the prison to one of the fastest growing cities not only in Utah but in the USA doesn't make sense, they'll have to relocate the prison again in 10 years.

Please don't ruin my children's future by compromising their sense of security. My daughter in the 6th grade is coming home all the time talking about this issue and is scared. NO Prison in Saratoga springs/Eagle Mountain.

I absolutely do not want a a prison in Saratoga Springs. This area is full of young families and is no place for a prison. They need to move it somewhere else.

Why dont they put it in one of the committee's backyards. Leave it wher it is.

Moving the prison to Sartoga Springs or Eagle Mountain is a disastrous idea. You will be closer to schools and family housing. We came out to these areas to be a bit away from everything an we didn't intend to be a part of a prison community in the future. Moving out towards the airport makes more sense and it is still close enough for prison workers to commute.

I moved to Eagle Mountain because of the safe atmosphere, openness, potential for country style living with close proximity to businesses that provided my needs as a single mother. I commute to SLC for work and look forward to a quiet, safe, peaceful, small town feel Eagle Mountain and Saratoga Springs provides. I feel choosing either site would bring future commercial and residential growth to a halt and may end up turning the recent growth seen to that of abandoned buildings and potential for increased crime.

It doesn't make sense to move the prison to a rapidly developing area. If moved, it should be in a more remote location.

It makes no sense to put a prison in an area, that in the next ten years will be highly developed! Homes are going up like crazy out there. How huge of an effect it will have on the economical and residential growth of this beautiful area. NO PRISON IN SARATOGA OR EAGLE MOUNTAIN.
