We, the undersigned, are adamantly opposed to the addition of new pickleball courts at the Blackhawk Tennis Villas. The continual "pop-pop-pop" noise of pickleball will be disruptive to tennis matches and is not conducive to the enjoyment of tennis.
The momentum behind this effort has grown to a point I never thought possible when I first started this fight. It has been an exhausting road so far but seeing this level of backing proves that we are not alone in wanting peace at the villas.

Thank you for allowing the members to give input.
With two courts frequently used for lessons and one for the ball machine, its very tough to get a court at the villas (many of us “camp out” on the app waiting for the stroke of 8am to grab a court before they are all booked. )
In addition, the wall is very useful and helpful for warming up before matches.
Finally, the noise would definitely distract from the peacefulness of the villas.
Thank you for considering all these comments.

Sports complex is a much better place to expand pickle ball. The interest level in tennis and the usage of tennis courts has been increasing over the past several months. Few more tennis courts at villas would be very helpful. The visibility of tennis balls in the morning on many courts is already an issue due to the redwood trees and pickle ball will add the noise problem too.

Capacity of tennis courts is already an issue at the villas. Is the capacity issue of the pickleball courts at the sports complex an issue at all? I never see anyone playing there when I'm up there. Convert the basketball court to pickleball courts if you need them at the villas. No one uses the basketball courts for basketball

It’s hard enough to get a court for tennis these days. I see the pickle ball courts sitting idle most of the time.
