I am a 26 year old who is currently vaping to quit smoking, and honestly if it weren't for the fruit and candy flavors out there I probably wouldn't have stuck to it. It just feels like there's more to lose by banning flavors - people might switch back to cigarettes, or try to brew their own flavored e-liquids with god knows what.

Vape flavors don't hurt anyone except big tobacco. They won't get my money even if you take my flavors.

I wanted to say that when I was young, I was not interested in smoking cigarettes and still do not today. Vaping have helped my brother to quit smoking cigarettes and I am grateful. Vaping is a safer alternative and I think it would not lead anyone to smoking cigarettes because it has safer and better tasting. Better in health and better for environment in overall. It's time to stop smoking analog cigarettes and encourage better alternatives that is vaping, nicotine gum, and batches.

I was a smoker from the age of 14 I’m now 46 and I switched to vaping in October 2017 and vaping is the only thing that has got me to kick the dirty habit , ive been vaping fruity juices that leave a nice taste in your mouth so it also takes away those cravings of eating to compensate the non smoking , stop taking people’s rights to vape nice flavours and trying to push them back on to a the very taste they want to be rid of ie tobacco it’s a fowl taste and I don’t want to go back to that , leave the people that have opted for a better lifestyle alone

Flavored E-juice helped me quit smoking after 17 years. I had tried many other methods of quitting but vaping was the only one that actualy helped me to stop.

Banning flavors wil only create a black market which will be less healthy for the public and the economy overall.
Some people will return/switch to normal cigarettes, which has been repeatedly shown to be much worse than vaping.
This is a bill unfairly targeting vape users. Flavored vodka is a much more popular, much more dangerous issue with the youth, and if this was truly a “save the kids” initiative, it would target that first.

I can see why people would say "looks like marketing toward children because of the sweet (candy, baked goods) flavors. Adults like sweets too! I quit smoking after 25 yrs and the great flavors made it to where the day I bought a vaporizer I never looked at or desired a cigarette again. Then a year later I decided to lose (was drinking too many sodas and eating way too candy and deserts so I cut out all sugars. The "Birthday cake" flavors of my vape staved off temptation to eat sugar and I have lost 65 pound. I give credit to a ketogenic eating plan and vaping Skittles flavored vape juice when I craved carbs and sweets!

Richard Durbin is a supporter towards quitting tobacco. It confuses me that he is making strides to attack a tobacco quiting industry. Mr. Durbin, please reconsider this approach.

Flavored e-liquids are a big reason why I was able to finally quit smoking and convert to vaping instead. It made the transition so much easier and I am so thankful to not be smoking anymore.
We understand that kids should definitely not be vaping and 100% support that stance. There needs to be better enforcement of the age requirement, just like there is for alcohol, which also come in many flavors.
