AB 227 will make it illegal to work as a skilled construction worker in Nevada through a staffing company.

If you perform skilled construction work in Nevada, and if you work for a staffing company, your job is at stake.

The Nevada Legislature needs to understand that real people and real jobs are in jeopardy.

Please sign the petition to tell the Nevada Legislature that ALL jobs are important and urge Legislators and the Governor to vote NO on AB 227.

Not all skilled works want to be in a union. To not have staffing companies as an option to a skilled worker is absurd.

I currently work for Eastridge as a Staffing coordinator. I have strong concerns on how this will affect not only my position but the community I serve in providing construction opportunities to client in Nevada. This would be a severe impact in our community and on our unemployment. Please reconsider everything and everyone this would affect before considering in passing this law. Sincerly, Linda Alvarez

I always refer candidates that we don't have work for to our local staffing agencies like Square One and The Applied Companies. It would be a disservice to our community to not allow skilled construction workers to go through a staffing company in Nevada.

Son has worked with Square One. Sister-in-law works for another staffing company. This would be a tragedy.

This will prevent workers who don't have the ability to work full time or permanent jobs from working within their trade! NO on AB 227
