We the undersigned or the People of the United States of America, demand No NEW Gun Control Laws or restrictions levied upon us as the result of the crime against humanity in Newton, Connecticut.

We, the people fully believe that the People under the Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights have a legal and Constitutional Right to KEEP and BEAR Arms. We, the people also fully believe that if the staff were armed at the Newton, Connecticut location, lives may have been saved. The criminal did not respect laws and broke several in order to commit his violent crime against humanity.

We, the people duly support the arming of staff and other administrators. Had the staff had access of a means to defend and protect themselves and others, this crime would not have had the ending as it did.

We, the people do request full support of our Second Amendment Rights as well as defensive training and the elimination of Gun Free Zones, that invite this time of crime to occur.

We, the people do NOT support restrictions be applied to the good people of this country, but rather that the lessons learned from these crimes, be applied for our future protection and of the innocent. Some of these lessons are that Political Correctness leads to the fear of questioning individuals and their actions prior to crimes being committed, IE Fort Hood, Texas.

We, the people know that if firearms aren't convenient, other means will be used, such as Timothy McVeigh's and his actions.

We, the people signed this petition for the purpose of our REPRESENTATIVES to think their actions out thoroughly, prior to responding with more laws that will only punish the decent Americans and do nothing to discourage the criminal from their intended actions.
