I would like the commissioners to explain why they think this rezone would be in the best interest for the residents as well as everyone else who trave!s on CR78. Clearly, the only one who will benefit will be the owner. What about impact to the aquifer if there's an issue (i.e., leaking diesel fuel) or to cars being hit by stones, traffic, road damage. How about managing the trucks crossing the swing bridge, which we can'tmanage now... and so on.

I do not approve of mining in Ft Denaud nor the rezoning from AG-2 to PUD by R&R Harvesting. This is a safety hazard. CR 78 is not able to handle current traffic load and shoukd not allow the additional surge of dump trucks required daily for mining on a 2 lane highway. It is also a safety issue for school busses. As a property owner on CR 78, this rezoning will destroy the community living and rural way of life. No mining!

We have enough construction and dump trucks, they fly down 78 already and we don’t need more

R&R already mines at the end of Cresent. The roads are horrible and they speed. Every time I'm driving by when they are hauling I'm either almost sideswiped or hit head on. We don't need more dump trucks on the road or more damage to land.

HUGE NO to this potential travesty! CR 78 is NOT a major highway, nor does it have the infrastructure to support dozens if not hundreds of dump truck loads day in and day out. Not to mention the enormous damage this will do for Fort Denaud's continued and future use for agriculture, farming, harvesting, etc. This will be unacceptable and extremely concerning if the county officials approve something as harmful as this will undoubtedly be to Fort Denaud and its residents.

This is not a good location for a mine. Allowing an operation such as this does not fit with the existing community and land uses.
No mining !!!!!
Protect Ft. Denaud town.
