The ripple effect of destroying ag land
is seen everyday with the loss of ground water, global warming, animal distress, residents mental stress and disappointment, etc. NO< NO< NO to mining in this populated area is ridiculous.

I enjoy traveling N River Rd. as a more bucolic alternative to Hwy 80. This ambiance will be destroyed with dump trucks barreling down the road all day long.

We own a house in Labelle as well as a house and 20 acres off Kirby Thompson Rd. The dump truck traffic is bad enough in Labelle, we don't need 150 trucks a day in this rural residential/ag. area. I'm all for land rights but this has always been zoned ag and needs to stay ag!

The level of existing Dump truck Traffic is already too much for the Alva community. This will cause extreme deterioration to the roads not to mention the Bridge which is already stressed . Noise levels for the community and all this traffic being funneled past the School.

County Road 78 is in bad shape currently with that amount of dump trucks every day will destroy our road much less the safety issues we will deal with

I’m not for mining. Roads are already dangerous without adding 150 dump trucks a day. Big concern is them trying to go around the Alva school during school hours. It’s a safety issue. We live on 78 and have seen dump trucks fully loaded passing each other, right after the curve by Arnold’s meat packing, heading to Muse. Which there is a bus stop right across from our home. Sheriff was called to patrol the area, and they did. This is a big safety concern for our children.

When will the powers consider the safety and well-being of the people? The property was bought as AG-2. That is what it should remain. Please stop the destruction.

The last thing CR 78 needs is 150+ dump trucks going up and down every day. Preserve rural Florida and its beauty!
