This should not be opened here in Monument! Is there not an attorney that lives in Monument who knows the law and is able to help the citizens fight this just because he/she loves our town? Don't the mayor and city council realize they will not be re-elected? What were they thinking doing this without citizen input?!

Monument does not have a heroin problem so take the clinic to a place that does have a problem. Locating it in Monument is only going to attract drug users to our town.

How close to parks, restaurants, school and church is this? Immediately adjacent to residential? Monument voted down marijuana and we are allowing this? Disappointed. We seriously need the zoning rewritten.

I had a brother who was a heroin addict and a methadone patient. Even while on the methadone program, he attempted to rob a bank to get money for heroin. I do think many patients can benefit, however, it only takes one to commit some heinous crime in Monument.

As a Monument resident I am against putting the clinic in that location.
